RichardTape.com has been designing websites since before the universe started. In fact, every single website you’ve ever seen has been lovingly created by these fair hands. There are no other web designers anywhere on the $They\'re not my hands$ planet. Not a single one. We think you’ll find that we are quite correct in saying that RichardTape.com was the first website ever. Contrary to popular belief, the internet itself was devised by RichardTape.com and not some chap with a double-barrelled surname.

OK, enough of the rubbish

Richard has been on the internet since 1995 when his loving parents rather stupidly left their debit card on the living room table next to the PC they had recently bought from PC World. Richard decided to try out AOL for a “trial month” - they’d never even know! The PC was about the same size as a cathedral and made about the same amount of noise (that may have been a bad simile). When Richard’s mum found out what he had done… let’s just say she wasn’t best pleased. Somehow, more through luck than judgment, he has survived (as a soldier of fortune…) through to the present day and is still on this wonderful thing we call the internet.

Richard likes big words, medium-rare Argentinian steak with a hefty Shiraz-Malbec alongside it and hurtling down a mountain with two bits of wood strapped to his feet. He would like to think that he is not an easy person to win over but if you were to try, it is said that Häagen Dazs Strawberry Cheesecake might just do the trick.

Richard’s first memories are of dressing up as ‘Richard the Lion Heart’ (with a helmet made from papier mâché and everything) and of running away from his Nan after he’d been naughty. Actually, more precisely, he was running away from the slipper his Nan held in her hand as she was chasing him.

Richard dislikes people without manners, poor pronunciation of players’ names on the commentary of football games and speaking in the third person.
